Through the analysis of the challenges in IUT information and communication (more specifically those organized by the options Digital information in organizations, Advertising and Communication of organizations), this article aims to examine the links between conceptions of professionalization in communication and educational resources. Resulting from work carried out within the framework of the ANR RENOIR IUT, this text considers the notion of resource both in terms of mode of production, pedagogy and valued and rewarding object. In the case of challenges, these three dimensions are heuristic: the question of production methods makes it possible to highlight the issues of co-writing between teachers and professionals. The question of the pedagogical forms associated with these resources invites us to investigate the specific claims of case study. Finally, the question of promotion invites us to think about the challenges, not only in terms of educational objectives but also as institutional showcases for the IUTs that participate in them.
