In order to fight social inequalities experienced by foreign pregnant women in health contexts, French perinatal health policies have legitimized the implementation of dedicated medical and social measures. The article examines the effects of these specific measures on the care pathways of newly-arrived pregnant women. This eth- nographic study, carried out within several dedicated facilities, reveals that the levers of action they mobilize significantly improve primary and secondary access to care for the beneficiaries. In addition, the quality of medical care is particularly appreciated by the users compared to obstetric follow-up in their country of origin. Nevertheless, the marginal and hidden characteristics of the dedicated measures raises many challenges.
