Drawing on empirical, methodological and theoretical questions raised by the conceptual network of Race, Racism, and Racialization (3Rs), this special issue offers to renew their critical examination from a deliberately transnational perspective, bridging in particular French and international bodies of critical race scholarship and research. Defining - qualifying - researching - (d)enunciating 3Rs then forms a broad problematic scansion that maps out the course of our investigation, against the backdrop of rising white nationalisms.
