This proposal aims here to question the issues, methods and resources of vocational training through work-study programs. In doing so, it will question: (1) learning in the metonymic relationship between the process and the pedagogical format; (2) the division or transfer of responsibility between the academic training body and the professional sphere; (3) competence negotiated between educational project and professional project; (4) the place of academic research in higher education.
