For this special issue on vagueness in sciences, we have translated Bertrand Russell's seminal article of the same name: Vagueness. Originally published in The Australasian Journal of Psychology and Philosophy in 1923, and following a lecture by the philosopher to the Jowett Society in Oxford, this text remained inaccessible to non-English-speaking readers.
