Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Have I removed the author's name from the text? In the bibliography and footnotes, the word "Author" and the year are used instead of the author's name, title of the article, etc.
  • Have I removed the author identification from the file properties? For Microsoft Office documents, the author identification should no longer appear in the file properties (see the main File menu in Word). You must click: File > Save As > Tools (or Options on the Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties when saving > Save. For PDF files, the author's name must be removed from the document properties in the File menu of the main Adobe Acrobat menu.
