In this paper, we propose a new identification of the relief n°41 depicted in the hittite sanctuary of Yazılıkaya (Turkey). This relief represents a Stormgod very similar visually to the Çağdın relief. First, the study will present the geographical and archaeological context of the sanctuary. Secondly, the Çağdın stele and Yazılıkaya 41 will be compared in detail. After analysing the previous identification hypothesis of relief 41, a new hypothesis will be put forward, in connection with our analysis of the luwian toponym TONITRUSURBS in the glyphic documentation. Finally, we will end this article by evoking the work and the methodology of the searchers who proposed to identify the Hittite sanctuary with a life-size lunisolar calendar.
