In the text of the Song of Songs there is no didascalia indicating which character is speaking and to whom. Such indications appear in some manuscripts of the Greek Bible (including the Sinaiticus) and in many Vulgata manuscripts. In this paper is edited and analyzed the didascalia in the Song of Songs in the Lucca Bible, Biblioteca Capitolare Feliniana 2, where two series of didascalia are combined, one of which going back to a Greek model.
