Le terme ẖnw et le début du Naufragé

The term ẖnw is attested fourteen times in the story of the Shipwrecked: 7 times in the preposition composed m-ẖnw, 7 times as a substantive. Few are the translators of the work who have translated in the same way the 7 occurrences of the name ẖnw: Residence, home, country, ... This hesitation on the meaning to give it concerns especially the first occurrence of the term, when the boat arrives at quay at the end of the Nubian expedition. Are the sailors at Elephantine, as we often thought, or at the Residence in Licht? This study allows us to remove any ambiguity on this important point for understanding the work. It is at the port of Licht that the boat is docked back from Nubia.
