Résumé. "Habitat léger… mais résilient ?" est un projet de recherche lauréat de la Bourse Christian Leleux 2019, mené par Anaïs Angéras, Gérald Ledent et Chloé Salembier. Cet article fait état des pratiques de production et de construction d’habitations dites légères, et interroge le principe de l’autoconstruction comme un aspect inhérent et structurant de l’habitat léger, en écho à la journée d’étude du 25 mars 2023 à l’UCLouvain. En seconde partie, une synthèse personnelle de l’auteure extrait les raisons, réseaux et résiliences en jeu dans l’autoconstruction d’une habitation légère.
Abstract. "Habitat léger... mais résilient ?" is winning research project of the Bourse Leleux 2019, led by Anaïs Angéras, Gérald Ledent, Chloé Salembier. This article describes the production and construction practices of so-called light housing and examines the principle of self-construction as an inherent and structured aspect of light housing. This first part echoes the study day held on 25 March 2023 at UCLouvain. In the second part, a personal summary by the author extracts the reasons, networks and resiliency at play in the self-building of lightweight housing.
